Woodrow 's Story
This years, Battle of the Bulge, 2009 Reenactment, is a annually held Event at Fort Indiantown Gap (FIG), PA, during the last weekend every January. As always, this event is met with natures blistering winds and snow - adding the realism of the cold weather conditions endured by all during the original battle... As a reenactor, it makes you fully appreciate and respect all who fought in those unfavored conditions. However, in the name of History's sake we all know the battle was fought and won by the American GI.

ters - WWII Battle of the Bulge Veterans Barracks. This reserved building houses all the original WWII Veterans who were in the battle. If your a writer, photographer, or just someone who wants to say hello or meet these great men by just paying your respects - you can do so anytime by stopping over at the WWII Veterans Barracks, before, during, or after the Battle. You can talk with the original attending members from the BAND OF BROTHERS FAME of the 506th and other group members attending this event between their scheduled Post tour, meals, and other activities. These boys of WWII are now approaching their mid to late 80's and 90's... God bless them all.
